Quote:  "As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives."

In the mode of the ultra popular/successful health and wellness App Boom,

I present you...

First Ball To Last, A mental health and wellness program for competitive junior tennis players..

How It Works:

Program is broken up in to two main sections:

1) Vital Signs: Teaching kids daily routines to help enhance their emotional awareness and intelligence

2) Immune System: The tennis life is long, demanding and stressful, yet we do so little preparing our kids for the rigors of the journey ahead. Through my unique Teaching Academy methods, we will develop all the traits required for long term health and success in sport and life, a program that will not only be performance enhancing but life enhancing if not life saving in the most extreme cases.

Just For Today: The Power of Daily Routines

3 Sections

Section 1: Morning Rituals: Attitude Alignment

Part 1: Choose An Icon (Tennis Ball Graphic would be sweet)  Various Topics:

Meditation, Mindfulness, Journaling, Reading, Prayer... Each Icon Takes Player to a page with recommendations and collections of chosen topic..

After morning routine is completed..

Part 2: Feelings Round: More Tennis Balls all with a different feeling on them i.e. Sad, Anxious, Fearful, Excited, Stressed, Overwhelmed... Each Icon takes Player  to a Feelings explainer, what the feeling is, where it may be coming from, how to best manage it for the day ahead

Hoping to have ATP and WTA tour players be the ones to come on and explain the feelings, how they experienced them personally and what they do to manage them. Important for connection

Part 3: Grab your Mantra: Don't start your day without going over your affirmations and mantras and having them at the forefront of your mind throughout your day

Section 2: Before we take the court for practice, lesson, workout, or tournament

Part 1: Click on The Situation: More Tennis Balls with various situations on them i.e: Playing a friend, playing a rival, playing the top seed, drilling with a parent, lesson with coach.. each Icon clicked will come with explainers (hopefully again with Tour Players explaining how they handled such situations)

Part 2: Feelings Round: Click on Feeling, Explainer appears with tutorial about how to best manage situation using the lessons learned through our Teaching Academy

Section 3: Review Our Day: As we lay our heads down to rest, we check in and see how we did that day..
