  1. Personal Stats Dashboard:

    IMPORTANT:   one of the primary ideas behind the site is mapping out the 50 or so strongest character attributes that I've identified among the healthiest and most successful tennis professionals ... Those are the topics I will be showcasing in the teaching academy 

     For example the section I have here on understanding the competitive tennis environment


    My thinking was to have a progress tracker so for example, when a person goes through all the material for the Environment, at the end, after they take the Retest they can be rewarded a badge or icon that would be displayed on their Profile Page in a clever way... 

    For Example, In the theme of a Boy Scout collecting merit badges, a Bingo Card. a footblaa player w stickers on helmets.. or some kind of Mannequin where the goal is to build the Ideal Player...

    So once the person goes through all the material I will present in The Teaching Academy (there will be close to 50 topics across a variety of fields, they will possess all the attributes of the greatest players...

    Achievement Badges:  Introduce a system of badges or trophies for milestones, such as winning a certain number of matches, achieving specific training goals, or completing lessons, achieving certain rankings etc

  2. Video Highlights and Analysis:

    • Allow users to upload and showcase their best match highlights or training sessions.
    • Include a feature for coaches to provide video analysis and feedback.

  3. Customizable Avatar and Themes through AI...  Would love an AI Image function that allows us to alter their image with different rotating themes.. For example, when Wimbledon is played in London on Grass courts, the players have to wear all white.. very classy outfits... Would love to be able to have an AI  Wimbledon filter for their profile photos etc

    • Offer options to customize their profile avatar and choose from various profile themes.
    • Include tennis-related items like racquets, outfits, and court backgrounds.

  4. Social Sharing and Following:

    • Enable users to follow each other, share achievements, and post updates., support each other
    • Integrate with social media platforms to share their progress and highlights externally.

  5. Fitness and Health Tracking:

    • Integrate with fitness trackers to monitor physical activities, like running, gym workouts, and general health metrics.
    • Provide personalized fitness goals related to their tennis training.

  6. Challenge and Competition Hub:

    • Feature a section for upcoming challenges and competitions. 30 day challenges, scavenger hunts etc
    • Allow users to join, track their performance, and compare results with others.

  7. Coach Interaction and Feedback:

    • Offer a dedicated space for direct communication with  coaches, including messages and video calls.
    • Display coach feedback, session notes, and personalized training tips.

Implementing these features can make the profile page not only a personal space for users but also a motivational hub that drives continuous engagement and improvement.

Posterize  Game face photos   cool function at tourneys.. they can turn an action shot into a poster.. My Game Face site

 Feature player of the month... Have them on my Podcast.. Have their favorite player acknowledge them

Design a racket stencil contest .. My Anarchy sign got me in trouble.. Make the coolest stencil contest..

If you were a wrestler... Wrestling AI APP... 

SOS system.. You're really struggling, we have an SOS button.. call in the trainer.. graphics of trainer coming out to player

Where were you born AI tennis APP..

Challenge system.. like the pros... if they have a question, they can use one of their challenges.. graphic of professional tennis challenge system  Encourage to participate in Q and A section on each Topic.. If we choose your question, you get some Merch 

A series of 30 day challenges... Each month a new one.. Show completion on Profile Page

Have a Community section.. Encouraging charity, volunteer work  notable causes/events to attend in their community

Day in the life segment   Seek volunteers to have a day in their training life chronicled  and showcased

Build An Altar contest.. Have a place in your room for trophies, pictures, memorabilia, etc.. a tennis altar..

Progress Report:  Keep track of all relevant site progress on a mock tennis scoreboard

Days in a row, Articles read, Videos watched, Questions asked.. Point scoring system.. Rack em up, trade them in for gear and merchandise

Name of Boxes are It Starts With Love.. designed for younger kids who may not be able to grasp material yet... What grandparent wouldn't spoil their little tennis player with this... Idea is pretty far along.. I need a clone

A Few Words About The Passing of John Leonard Davis

The Southern California tennis community lost one of its most iconic members last week, John "JD" Davis. I'd like to pen a few words about my former teammate, tennis peer, partner on court and in crime, and most of all, friend. As with many of us, I first encountered JD on the indigenous hard courts of Southern California. SoCal junior tourneys were mass mobilization events. A Father/Son Story on this Father's Day   For those of us who had complicated relationships with our deceased Dads, Father's Day can be bittersweet. There are no more moments to share, no more significant dates to celebrate. All that remains are the ever-fading memories of how it once was. With each passing year, I feel our relationship differently, the half-life of the more painful moments ever receding, I feel little of the angst I once did. Maybe it's maturity, maybe just grace.
